Dante Intindola, President

Dante is a fifth-generation Nutley resident and commercial real estate banker. He graduated from Rutgers University-New Brunswick in May 2020 with a degree in Business Analytics and Information Technology with a minor in History with a Public History Certificate. He recently completed his undergraduate thesis, Rowing on the Passaic River: Boat Clubs and the Rise of Industry in Gilded Age Newark, New Jersey 1865-1901. Dante has served in this capacity since June 2019 and is also a member of the Nutley Historic Preservation Committee, the Nutley Historical Society, and the New Jersey Historical Society.

John Demmer, Vice President

John is Nutley’s Town Historian. His book, Images of America: Nutley, published in 1997, gives a pictorial history of Nutley. John gives regular talks about local history in conjunction with the Nutley Public Library and the Nutley Farmers’ Market. Click here for more information about his work as Town Historian. He has served in this capacity since June 2019 and is also a member of the Nutley Historic Preservation Committee. John is also a master cabinetmaker by trade.

Barbara Davide, Treasurer

Barbara is a published author and longtime Nutley resident and serves as our treasurer. She has volunteered prolifically over the years, currently devoting her time to the Nutley Family Service Bureau Thrift Shop and the Friends of Nutley Library. Previously, she has raised funds for Deborah Heart & Lung, City of Hope in Duarte, CA. (Leukemia), Mediterranean Anemia, Italian earthquake relief, and the Knights of Columbus.  She has also volunteered in the past for F.I.S.H. (arranged rides for residents to doctors), the Nutley Historical Society, served as a County Committeewoman, and served on the campaign of a Newark councilwoman. She attended Montclair State College.
