What We’re Doing
Since 1995 we have led the effort to permanently protect nearly the Van Riper House, a historic Dutch brownstone farmhouse in Nutley, NJ.
Our most recent project was the completion of a comprehensive Preservation Plan for the house. Funded in part by a grant from the New Jersey Historic Trust, this document provides a solid roadmap to restoration. It includes archaeology, a structural assessment, a detailed historical analysis, and concepts for future use.
